You know that Star Wars is one of the most profitable movie franchises to date – just check out the kind of merchandise that this particular series boasts and look me in the eye, telling me that George Lucas isn’t one of the richer people around. The guy hasn’t milked this particular cash cow dry, with his latest (non-viewable) efforts resulting in the£32.99 R2-D2 Nutcracker.
We all know that R2-D2 is one of the hardier droids around, having escaped from many a tight situation without missing a screw. Well, this time around, the little droid that could has expanded his repertoire of tricks to one that scorned ladies love – being a nutcracker. After all, with the festive season coming upon us in just a couple of months, it makes perfect sense for this astromech droid to crack nuts in just seconds despite coming in a 7″ frame.
