Resistance is futile
LAST DITCH EFFORT: Joseph Capelli must embark on a dangerous journey from Oklahoma to New York to stop the Chimera once and for all.SONY is in making its final preparations for the launch of the much-awaited PlayStation3-exclusive videogame, Resistance 3.
This time around players will be donning the boots of Joseph Capelli to save humanity form being enslaved by alien invaders called the Chimera.
The Chimeras are slowly turning the planet into an arctic wasteland, and you'll have to fight the merciless alien invaders who are now more merciless and smarter thanks to a better AI engine.
You'll have access to a wide variety of weapons including the classics like the Bullseye, Auger and Marksman - all of which have a unique alternate firing mode.
When the fight gets too tough, you can call on a friend to help you out either via online or local co-op gameplay.
You can also dive into the game's multiplayer mode which will feature 16-player deathmatches and various other modes.
Sony has also updated two classic titles with HD graphics - Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection and God of War: Origins Collection.
Resistance 3 and God of War: Origins Collection are expected to be released this month for RM169 and RM109 respectively. Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection will be launching next month for RM109. - CHONG JINN XIUNG
