KOTA MARUDU: A trip to a karaoke outlet for two friends ended in tragedy when one of them was killed and the other seriously injured.
Junie Paddis, 38, died on the spot after his motorcycle was involved in a collision here with a car while his 39-year-old pillion rider suffered severe injuries.
Kota Marudu police chief Deputy Supt Mohd Isa Yusof said the car driver fled the scene.
The motorcycle was exiting a junction when it collided with the car, believed to be silver in colour, in the 7.50pm incident last Friday.
