The famous producers of SBS‘s hit drama, ‘Secret Garden‘, will be coming together once again for a new idol-themed drama!
Writer Kim Eun Sook and director Shin Woo Chul have revealed that they’re working together for a new SBS drama set to begin airing in March of 2012. Earlier this month, Kim Eun Sook attended the ‘2011 Korea Drama Awards‘ and hinted at another drama project during her acceptance speech by stating, “I’m going to return to our viewers with a fun drama early next year.”
The drama will be centered around idols. One representative revealed, “Although the drama is about idols, the main story will take place at a school. The average age of the cast will be significantly lower than that of her previous works with ‘On Air and ‘Secret Garden’.”
A slew of stars are lining up in hopes of being cast for what many are already predicting to be a hit considering the two figures that are behind it.
A broadcast representative stated, “Through ‘Secret Garden’, the charms of Hyun Bin were rediscovered, and new stars like Kim Sa Rang and Kim Sung Oh were born. Top stars all the way down to the rookies are lining up. The synopsis isn’t even out yet, but many are saying that they’re willing to play any character as long as they can get in.”
