Rain‘s younger sister updated her minihompy recently, and shared a letter from Rain with his fans.
On October 15th, Rain’s sister, Jung Hana, revealed that she received a package and a letter from her famous big brother. She wrote, “A package came today. I didn’t have any thoughts about it since receiving it but after reading the letter, I cried. He wrote, ‘You are my most loved sibling in the world’…He also told me to give Baekgu [his dog] a bath which caused me to laugh hysterically. Haha. He said, ‘Lock your doors, be careful at night, be careful of cars’…I’m doing really well so I told him not to worry.”
She later added, “I feel more secure because of his letter. Even so, he naturally adapts to things well and his will is strong. He’s the kind of oppa that does everything well!…Anyway, to all of his fans: oppa is doing well so don’t worry about him too much.”
Relieved, fans responded, “Thank you for telling us this news! I’m glad to hear he’s doing well”, “Please keep us updated often about any news from him!”, and “You must have worried a lot since you’re his little sister! Thank you for keeping the fans updated!”
Singer Rain shed some tears as he prepares to enroll in the army on October 11th. On September 30th, a clip from Rain’s concert which was held on the 25th, was uploaded on YouTube, revealing a touching goodbye moment at the end of the concert.
In the video, Rain is wiping away his tears as he thanks his fans for all the years in which they’ve supported and followed him. Rain had trouble talking after he began with his debut day, “Since April 24th of 2002.” He covered his face as tears continued to fall down his face.
Embarrassed by his tears, Rain put sunglasses on to block his eyes and continued his speech, “As an artist named Rain, time has flew by like the wind.”
Rain continued, “I thought about my auditioning days during the opening. It’s weird that it was so hard back then, it’s already been 10 years.”
The brave artist finished off his speech with a big bow to his fans after saying, “I’ll be back safely. Thank you to all the fans who dedicated themselves to me for the past 10 years. To my beloved father and sister, I love you.”
On September 28th, world star Rain uploaded a cute selca of himself while shooting for a commercial through his Twitter. Along with the attached photo, the star wrote, “I’m so exhausted. I have so much to do, but so little time… I must work hard today as well. This is the commercial studio.”
Looks like Rain is trying to wrap up his activities before joining the army on October 11th. Despite being extremely tired due to his busy schedule, he took the time to interact with fans by snapping a selca with a cute peace sign. Fans were amazed to see his tall and muscular body which caused his shirt to stretch out leaving traces of his biceps and chest muscles. Netizens who visited his site, commented, “Don’t overwork yourself…Health comes first~” and, “Wow, even your shirt can’t hide your muscles!”
On September 27th, Jang Geuk Suk tweeted,
“Puhaha world stars sleep too? What is this, you were just faking it! Faker Rain!!!“
In one of the photos, Rain is seen smiling at the camera while sitting besides a sleeping Jang Geun Suk. In the other photo, Rain is found innocently sleeping.

Rain finished his final tour before entering into the military service and gave out his thank you message. On September 25 he wrote on his twitter, “For 10 years we held about 120 concerts, thank you for everyone that came. I love you.”
In the message Rain posted a picture where he is posing with dancers, and fans are also filling up the background below the stage.
A representative of Rain stated, “Next month on October 9, Rain will hold a free concert in front of the Apgujeong CGV (Movie Theater). The event is being held with the Gangnam-Gu office and also sponsored by CJ E&M. Other than this performance there are no officially planned events. Before he enters his military service he will eat with MBLAQ, other workers and singers in the entertainment agency. He will also probably go see his deceased mother and spend time with family.”
Rain will begin his military service on October 11. He had stated, “I am sorry and embarrassed that my entrance into the military is so late. I will try to fulfill my duty, as best as I can.”

Rain ended his very last concert before his enlistment to the cheers of 10,000 fans.
After debuting in 2002 with “Bad Guy“, Rain raced through 10 years of singing, acting, and even producing. He was active in many different countries, and his global fame even reached Hollywood, thus earning him the title, ‘world star’. All this fame and glory will be put on hold for two years once Rain starts his mandatory military service on October 11th.
Of course, he couldn’t go without holding one last mind-blowing show, and so he went on a nation-wide tour called ‘The Best Show‘.
On September 24th and 25th, Rain held his very last concerts in Seoul, which drew fans not only from all over Korea, but around the world as well. It’s said that fans flew in from countries like China and Japan to bid their favorite star farewell. Additionally, reporters spotted his celebrity friends in the audience, like
Lee Bum Soo,
MBLAQ, and
A Pink.
Though the concert began 10 minutes, Rain was received with wild screams as the lights began to dim and lasers shot out across the stage to announce his arrival. He kicked off the show with “Hip Song“, and the energy from this performance set the pace for the rest of the night. For 2 hours and 40 minutes, Rain busted out many of his popular hits, such as ”How to Avoid the Sun” and “I Do“. The fans all sang along without hesitation, and they drew out the loudest screams they could when the star demanded, “Make some noise!”.
During the concert, Rain also talked lightheartedly about his upcoming enlistment. “I thank everyone who made it to this concert,” he said. “Today’s show is a little different from my usual shows. I originally wanted to show you my hair dyed in a different color, but I didn’t do it because my hair is precious to me!”
Eventually, all good things come to an end, and Rain concluded the night by singing “Instead of Saying Goodbye“. He promised to return to his fans in two years, and asked that they patiently wait for him.
