On the end-of-year special recording of MBC‘s ‘We Got Married’, the show captured the stars arriving one by one, and greeting one another as they entered the waiting room. Out of the three couples, the first to arrive was Lee Jang Woo. The next person to arrive was not his wife Eunjung, but Leeteuk‘s wife Kang Sora. It was the first time the two had met in person, and due to the absence of their respective spouses, the two stars were so awkward they could not even make eye contact. They merely exchanged formal greetings.
While Kang Sora and Lee Jang Woo were exchanging awkward laughter in place of a conversation, Eunjung finally arrived and more so than any other time, Lee Jang Woo enthusiastically welcomed her.
Lee Jang Woo and Eunjung learned that Kang Sora was a hoobae from their school and major, and seized control of the situation as they joked about disciplining her through a traditional ‘initiation’.
The awkward and nervous first meeting of ‘We Got Married’s three couples can be seen on the upcoming December 24th broadcast.

Netizens commented on the photo with, “Good to see that they are still close“, “They look good together“, and “What’s with Jo Kwon’s expression?”

The episode focused on their first meeting at a theater, which was crashed by Leeteuk’s fellow Super Junior members. Because the two were acting so shy around each other, the members worked to liven up the atmosphere by giving the new couple missions. They first asked them to gaze into each other’s eyes and come up with sweet nicknames.
After a bit of hesitation, Leeteuk decided, “My baby princess.” He reasoned, “She has a bit of baby fat left, and my first impression of seeing her in a dress was that she looked like a princess.” Upon hearing that, Kang Sora collapsed to the floor with embarrassment.
She then decided, “Then I think I will call him my prince. I was going to just call him oppa but that seems a bit weak compared to princess.”
After hearing their pet names, the Super Junior members and the studio exclaimed, “This is so embarrassing, my hands are curling up!”
In a later interview, Leeteuk expressed interest in changing the nickname by stating, “I think nicknames like honey or sweetie would also be good. Isn’t that what other couples call each other?”
T-ara‘s
Eunjung experienced an embarrassing moment as a celebrity while visiting a street market on MBC’s ‘We Got Married’.
On the episode that aired on October 15th, after wrapping up their music video filming, Eunjungwanted to set aside a day to restore their health and called it ‘couple health day.’ She claimed that she could make a special tea to “restore her hubby’s health” and suggested to head out to the street market to get some ingredients with her husband, Lee Jang Woo.
As the young couple walked through the street market, the owners and workers paid much attention to both Lee Jang Woo and Eunjung.
Lee Jang Woo especially was quite popular among the women due to his handsome appearances on daily dramas. On the other hand, however, Eunjung faced an embarrassing moment. When Eunjungasked a lady, “Do you recognize me also? I’m in T-ara!“, she immediately responded back, “T-ara? Who is that?“, creating an awkward and humorous moment.
Eunjung then replied in disappointment, “My hubby is so popular but it appears I lack public recognition and popularity… I should try harder with more efforts.”
This week’s episode of MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘ went behind-the-scenes for the music video of ZIA‘s “The Way I Am” featuring T-ara‘s Eunjung and Jang Woo. For the music video, Eunjung and Jang Woo acted out the heartbreaking story of a couple who could no longer be together due to an unfortunate accident.
At first, the couple had a hard time acting out the crying scenes because they couldn’t help but laugh when they were facing each other, but moments later they showed off their talented acting skills by perfectly expressing the characters’ emotions through their acting.
In the scene where Eunjung is supposed to react to witnessing Jang Woo getting hit by a car right in front of her eyes, she became very emotional, and her sobbing was so realistic that even Jang Woo who was watching her from the sidelines was seen with tears glistening in his eyes.
He later commented with a chuckle, “I was very touched then, knowing that Eunjung would cry like that for me if I was actually hit by a car. I’m very thankful. She did really well.”
Jang Woo later had to perform a difficult wire action stunt and act out the scene when he gets hit by a car. As filming continued in the ‘rain’ for over three hours, Eunjung showed concern for her husband and made sure to keep him warm with blankets, dried his hair with towels, and brought him warm drinks. Jang Woo was able to keep a bright smile on his face because of Eunjung’s care, and expressed his appreciation towards her.
It was said that next week’s episode would go behind the scenes for some more cheerful portions of the music video, which greatly raised the anticipation of viewers since the couple had revealed a sweet kiss scene in the video.
There have been a ton of articles dedicated to the new couple on MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘, a few of which speculated that Super Junior’s Leeteuk had paired up with actress Kang Sora. The producers of WGM denied that Leeteuk would join the show, but it seems they may have trolled us with a technicality. The show finally released a preview on the new couple on October 1st, and it features several members of Super Junior stating that they were about to be married. …All except for the already-takenShindong, who vehemently denies, “It’s not me! It’s not me. You all know that.” The interview cuts are interspersed with mysterious shots of a woman, whom we don’t get to see up-close.
MBC‘s hit program ‘We Got Married‘ is working to recruit another couple for their new season. In an attempt to boost viewer ratings, they are considering having another real-life couple on the show. A WGM representative stated, “It’s true that the show is less popular now than it once was. Taking into consideration that ratings were really high when we had real-life couple Kim Yong Jun and Hwang Jung Eum on the show, we are in the works of trying to recruit another dating couple.” However, it seems that getting celebrity couples to come onto the show is more difficult than they thought. They had initially extended an invitation to Lady Jane and Simon D, as well as to KARA‘sGoo Hara and B2ST‘s Yong Junhyung, who both turned down the offer.
“Although they would only be mimicking a real marriage on the show, they are afraid of losing more of their own privacy. Additionally, each person wants to be known as an individual artist, rather than be identified as a couple,” representatives explained. “It’s going to be hard to recruit one of Hallyu’s more popular couples.”
WGM’s new producer, PD Kim Jun Hyun, remarked, “Its hard trying to recruit new couples considering I just took over. We are working to put together fun new couples and will announce them once things are finalized.”
Rumors have been running rampant about which celebrities will joining the new season of
MBC‘s ‘
We Got Married‘. Recently, a news outlet reported that
Super Junior‘s
Leeteuk and actress
Kang Sorawere one of the show’s three confirmed couples for the show, and that filming would begin on September 30th.
The ‘We Got Married’ producers are denying such reports, as they revealed through Joy News 24, “Reports of Leeteuk and Kang Sora joining the show are groundless. We’re actually very shocked to see dates being mentioned that even the producers have no idea about. None of it is the truth.”
SISTAR‘s Hyorin was also said to be confirmed for the show, and netizens have been busy drawing up names for her partner. Producers remain adamant about keeping everything a secret until the day of filming. “
We’re working on getting the three couples to film this weekend or the beginning of next week. To keep the show fun, we won’t be revealing who.” They continued, “There are a lot of reports saying that celebrities we don’t even know are confirmed for the show. How upset would the stars be to see that they might be on the show but are actually not? Please refrain from spreading such rumors.”
