During a phone interview with TVReport on the 23rd, a staff member from KBS 2TV‘s ‘Immortal Song 2‘ stated, “Brown Eyed Soul’s Sunghoon and SHINee’s Taemin will be joining the ‘Immortal Song 2′ lineup starting in January.”
Brown Eyed Soul made up Naul, Jung Yeob, Young Joon, and Sunghoon rarely make stage performances, yet still manage to sell an impressive number of albums. Member Sunghoon has made his debut as a soloist, writing all but one of the songs on his album, ‘Lyrics within my story‘.
SHINee member Taemin is traveling the world, stopping in major cities like Paris to further spread awareness of Hallyu and K-pop. Like Sunghoon, he is the maknae of his group and has captivated his fans with his powerful dance moves.
The two talented maknae vocalists of Hallyu’s leading idol groups will be greeting the viewers on ‘Immortal Song 2′ in the new year.

Minho recently shot a CF with model
Goo Eun Ae.
Still cuts from the CF of the two were revealed on SHINee’s fan cafe on the 28th. The couple looked very natural together on set, and Minho rocked smokey eye makeup to intensify his look, while Goo Eun Ae looked seductively into his eyes, showcasing her voluptuous body.
The official CF will be released sometime in November.
After releasing three singles in Japan this past year, it has been announced that
SHINee will be releasing their first Japanese album on November 23rd!
Aptly titled “THE FIRST”, this album will include twelve songs, including the already released singles, “Replay – You Are My Everything“, “Juliette” and “Lucifer“. In addition to the regular version, two limited edition packages will be released.
The regular version ($37 USD) will include the CD, a 44-page photo booklet and “Stranger“, SHINee’s OST track for the Japanese drama “Stranger6“.
The limited edition ($50 USD) will include the CD, a 2012 desk calendar, a “JAPAN DEBUT PREMIUM RECEPTION DIGEST MOVIE in JAPAN & LONDON” DVD and 68-page photo booklet featuring the quintet’s visit to London earlier this year.
The limited edition box version ($80 USD) will include a deluxe CD, a 88-page photobook, a limited edition button, a full MP3 verison of the album, as well as the earlier-mentioned 2012 calendar and DVD with jacket shooting footage.

On October 16th, the members of SHINee visited the ‘2011-2012 KB National Card Professional Basketball‘ game between the Seoul Samsung Thunders and Changwon LG Sakers at the Seoul Jamshil Indoor Gymasnium. SHINee kicked off the match with a ‘shoot the hoops’ session and put on a mini-concert at the half-time for the show. Samsung Electronics also provided a variety of events for the audience members by providing cookies and restaurant certificates.
LG won the game with a final score of 81 to 74.
After giving us a first look last week, SHINee has unveiled a second MV teaser for their upcoming Japanese remake of “Lucifer“!
Closely following its original, the teaser features the five young men in front of a dark backdrop with a variety of coordinated outfits, from a red and black set to silver and white. Complete with CG effects, we’re sure that this music video will be absolutely sizzling.
On an upcoming episode of SBS E!TV‘s ‘K-STAR news‘ hosted by Son Ho Young, SHINee‘sTaemin will reveal a whole new transformed look. Well known for appealing to the older generation of women with his cute and fresh image, Taemin will reveal a more grown-up, sexy and manly look on ‘K-STAR news’. SHINee’s average age was 17 when they first debuted and Taemin held the most innocent and cute look because he was the youngest out of the group. Taemin attracted the ‘noonas’ with his slim, and young figure along with his adorable antics so noonas should be interested with his image change on this upcoming program.
Additionally, the show will discuss the frenzy of girl group comebacks for the second half of 2011 andMBLAQ‘s Lee Joon will also be featured on the show. SBS E!TV’s ‘K-STAR news‘ airs every Friday at 10PM.
