BoA is gearing up for her December comeback, and fans are psyched to hear new Japanese material after such a long hiatus.

A radio station recently played her new song, “Milestone“, and it’s promising to be a big hit, thanks to its pretty melody and BoA’s rich vocals. It seems that during her time away, she developed a rich tint to her tone that speaks to her growth as an artist.

A few weeks ago, BoA teased her fans with a tweet about a new single. New info about this single has just been revealed, and it’s exciting BoA fans all over the globe!

Titled “Milestone“, the single will be BoA’s first Japanese release in about a year and a half. The title song is said to be a ballad, similar to “Meri Kuri“, “Winter Love“, and “I SEE ME“.

“Milestone” will serve as BoA’s third CM song for Audio Technica, and so she performed the track for the very first time at the brand’s 50th anniversary event on October 13th.

The single will come with a CD and a DVD. The CD will contain a total of four songs including her digital single, “I SEE ME”, and a different version of “Meri Kuri”. Meanwhile, the DVD will contain a video clip as well as some making-of footage for “Milestone”.

To top it all off, BoA will hold her annual Christmas live at Tokyo International Forum on December 10th and 11th.
