Siti launching All Your Love
After a long hiatus (actually, since her controversial marriage in 2006!), Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza is back in the music scene, with an English album no doubt.
A reputable singer in the local music scene, with 13 Malay albums to her name and over 200 awards, this is Siti’s first English album and it is called All Your Love. The album was launched on 26 September and it features 10 songs that aim to push Siti to international pop stardom.
“The title of the album All Your Love is dedicated to all my fans, friends and family who’ve blessed me with all their love over the years and because of that, I want to make them proud by producing an album that is able to compete on the international stage,” Siti, 32, revealed. The first single off the album is Falling In Love. The album is produced by What’s Up Entertainment, fronted by Siti’s stepson, Adib Khalid (son of her husband, Datuk Khalid Mohamad Jiwa).

All Your Love is Siti’s most ambitious work yet with collaborations with Sean Kingston of Beautiful Girls fame, sound mixing engineer Richard Furch (Prince, OutKast, Usher, Gym Class Heroes) and mastering engineer Eddie Schreyer (Lady Gaga, System Of A Down, Kanye West).
Just to refresh… Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza is Malaysia’s bestselling artiste to date. She started out at the age of 16, winning big at the Bintang HMI talent show. Soon after, Siti received numerous recording offers and at 19, Siti launched her own company -- Siti Nurhaliza Productions. Siti is known for her sweet demure image and an equally sweet voice, boasting a wholesome package, that's well received in Malaysia and Indonesia. She is also known for being conservative and refusing to wear sexy clothes or to pose with male artistes for magazine covers. Among Siti’s famous songs are Cindai, Jerat Percintaan, Biarlah Rahsia and Cahaya Cinta. One of the most profitable artistes (if not the most) in Malaysia, Siti is said to be worth over RM50 million. In her heyday, she was paid RM45,000 for a half hour show and RM70,000 for a whole hour.
Now if you hear one of Siti’s fluent sweet rendition in English, you’d surely forget those Engrish jokes on her.
Don’t laugh, ‘cos guess who’s laughing all the way to the bank?
